I'm a developer and physicist. My sweet spot is the stretch between "here's an interesting research paper" and "here's a prototype you can put in front of a user."
The work is usually some mix of asking better questions, cutting scope in half twice, and writing enough code to make the question answerable. A decade moving between research and product means I can read the paper, pressure-test the business case, and write the glue that turns one into the other.
If you have a hard problem and a short runway, we'll probably get along.
